    Superb

I liked having a balcony (south facing), the terrace bar was nice too. Gym facilities were good. Breakfast was excellent. Nice big car park.

The jacuzzi was rather dirty & no handrail round pool. Evening meal was rather dear, so ate out.

The peacefulness even though there were 2 big functions on at the hotel when we stayed it was still quite quiet.

We had no complaints about the hotel as such I thought the car park could have had more lightening in it.

There is not one particular thing I liked as I liked it all! Just amazing place and staff, will be going back and taking some friends for a spa weekend. I am suprised it has not been awarded 5* I spend a lot of time in hotels all over the country and abroad due to work, not many hotels meet my expectations and offer what they advertise on internet but this hotel is by far the best I have stayed in.

This is a modern hotel with well equipped large rooms that are nicely decorated. The leisure facilities are good and the public areas comfortable with good service

Loved the suite and all facilities, cleanliness, hotel garden grounds / location, le grande breakfast - directed by the most professional and courteous waiters we have ever met.

    Fabulous

We stayed for a wedding and the function room, food and staff were excellent

    Superb

The professionalism and helpfulness of staff The ambience generally and the decoreand facilities of both rooms and hotel generally. Meals in the Terrace (a better option than the lean nouveau cuisine of the Dining Room

No! Unless you could pick i and put it down by the sea near the centre of town !!???

The service was great, staff were very helpful and it was a relaxing stay.

    Superb

Large comfortable room, lovely surroundings. Well equipped with nice toiletries, good sized refrigerator (Waitrose just over road for drinks/snacks) and balcony large enough to sit out on. Free wifi (although connectin hit and miss) and good breakfast buffet with huge variety - very impressive compared to others Pool and spa facilities look very pleasant but didn't have time to try them.

Housekeeping ignored my 'Please service room' sign first thing on the second morning so I had to wait until mid-afternoon for clean towels (if you book as single occupancy you only get one of each). Trolleys were everywhere in corridors, so managed to get a couple of extra ones for morning - was impossible to get through to them on the phone. Everything else fine.

Room would have been pleasant if it was cleaned properly, great balcony wrecked by dog ends. Very Confortable bed.

Room being not serviced properly. Toilet not flushing correctly. Manager totally interest in our issues. Cold buffet was not topped up. Hot buffet dry and kept warm to long. Stewed coffee poor service. Bar had a very poor selection of drinks, only Gordons Gin and no Coke. No opening windows in room compounded by no airconditioning.

    Good

We had stayed at this hotel before and found it offered excellent accommadation and friendly staff, I regret to report that although the staff on whole were great I believe that it does not now offer the same value for money. We will not stay at this hotel again and will not reccommend it to anyone J.A.S.Davies

Great location for St Peter Port ,great facilities, including swimming pool and spa/jacuzzi.Restaurants are superb ( bit pricey but not bad for a hotel of this caliber ).Breakfast is one of the best I have eaten in any hotel. Room is excellent, quiet and we had a ground floor room overlooking park and grounds.Very clean and plenty of storage for clothes etc.Spacious bathroom. Very helpful staff in all areas.
